Overwatch League To Host BAIT Sneaker Drops In The Playoffs

Overwatch League announced its latest partnership with BAIT, popular streetwear and sneaker retail store with several locations in the United States. The collaboration aims to increase player morale as the third season of the league heads to the playoffs and grand finals. BAIT and OWL will reward players with bonuses and perks when certain statistical milestones are reached.
Players who can hit the stat-based milestones set by OWL will earn exclusive shoes designed and curated by BAIT and its Chief Marketing Officer Eric Phan. BAIT only produces in-house footwear and clothing apparel with its partners. The store has already collaborated with the likes of Discovery Channel, Reebok, ASICS, Saucony, and Onitsuka Tiger.
All in all, BAIT and OWL will release 22 pairs of sneakers up for grabs in the league’s playoffs. These exclusive items are outside the coverage of the already announced $4M grand finals prize pool this season.
